On behalf of the NATO Helicopter Management Agency (NAHEMA), the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has signed the 4th Logistics Support Contract for NH90 helicopters with NHIndustries.

NAHEMA member countries Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands will benefit from the contract.

The contract, which came into force on 1st April 2020, continues – in close cooperation between NSPA and NAHEMA – the automated and integrated supply chain established since 2004.

It will secure NH90 helicopters support capability for the next three years, with an option for another two years.

NSPA will provide logistic support to NAHEMA and the five nations through its ASD/AIA S2000M proven automated and integrated system.

This provides access to a spare parts catalog containing more than 15,000 items, excluding the engine and consumables.

The NH90 is a twin-engine, medium-size helicopter procured, supported and managed by NAHEMA on behalf of the participating nations and through the NHIndustries joint venture.

This is a company owned by Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters and Fokker.

The NH90 is used in various versions, including for tactical transport and maritime applications such as search and rescue missions.

It has been sold to militaries around the world.

Because of its versatility, nations currently use NH90 helicopters in missions to combat the effects of COVID-19.
