As part of the coronavirus response, MANN+HUMMEL has developed FreciousComfort Clean, a mobile air cleaner for sensitive areas such as temporary hospitals in tents or exhibition halls which collects 99.95 percent of the impurities in the air, and MANN+HUMMEL can adapt to the customer’s requirements using various parts.

Coronavirus is mainly transmitted from person-to-person by droplets, but it may also be spread through airborne aerosols so one way to reduce the risk of airborne transmission is to use mobile air purifiers with a HEPA filter H13. The FreciousComfort Clean is designed for air flows of up to 2,000 m3/h and consists of a three-stage filter system:

  • the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter separates microorganisms, viruses and proteins, among others
  • the polyphenol layer of the compact air filter is effective against protein-containing particles
  • the activated carbon medium also reliably adsorbs unpleasant odours

Optional add-on elements are available for optimum air flow.
