Oshkosh Defence has announced that the U.S. Army Contracting Command has placed an order for 248 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) and associated kits, valued at US$127m. This includes vehicles for the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of State. To date, Oshkosh has successfully integrated multiple weapons on the JLTV including Remote Weapon Systems up to 30mm, anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Counter-UAV systems. Fitted to the JLTV, these configurations offer both protection and the highly reliable defence technologies needed for troops to defeat near-peer adversaries.

Over 7,500 vehicles have been delivered to the U.S. Military since the production contract was awarded in 2015 and foreign interest in the JLTV continues to grow as everal NATO countries have expressed public interest in procuring the vehicle, including Lithuania, Slovenia, United Kingdom and Montenegro.
