The T-14 ARMATA MBT has attracted international attention during its international debut at IDEX 2021, according to Rosoboronexport.
CEO Alexander Mikheev was quoted by Russian media as saying that the vehicle attracted interest from six countries which have started negotiations on the platform. Serial production of the tank has just started with the unit price to drop on the third year of manufacture, according to the maker.
Rosoboronexport also concluded a contract with Jadara Equipment and Defense Systems of Jordan on license production of the KORNET-E ATGM. The missile has been designed and produced by the Tula-based Shipunov KBP Design Bureau of the High-Precision Weapons Holding. According to the source in Rosoboronexport, Russia and Jordan reached agreement on licensed assembling of the 9M133-1 and 9M133F-1 missiles of the KORNET-E ATGM complex.
KORNET-E is an export version of the ATGM family intended to destroy tanks and armoured vehicles with reactive armour as well as various fortified objects. The missile has a maximum firing range of 5,500 m.
