Paramount Group has announced the appointment of Steve Griessel as its Group Chief Executive Officer. South African-born Griessel, who served as CEO of several companies in South Africa and the US, including two public companies, brings more than 30 years of senior management experience to the group. Griessel will assume the new role with immediate effect. He will be responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership and will work closely with the Board of Directors, shareholders and senior leadership team, the company writes in a press release. Prior to his recent appointment, Griessel held the position of CEO of Paramount USA, Paramount’s US-based subsidiary.
