At Eurosatory, MKS, Ophir Optics, will be introducing the new high-performance long-range 60-1200mm f/4 and 80-1200mm f/5.5 IR thermal-imaging zoom lenses with detection range exceeding 28km, the company writes in a press release. According to Ophir, the lenses are ideal for infrared C-UAS platforms, as well as long-range observation applications. In addition, MKS, Ophir Optics, plans to introduce its new low-SWaP IR thermal imaging zoom lens solutions for mini/micro tactical payloads, drones and UAV’s.
Ophir’s US-ITAR-certified European site, located in NATO-member Romania, has recently expanded manufacturing capacity and capabilities in high-precision IR optical solutions. The site in Bucharest delivers precision infrared components, specializes in the fabrication and coating of customized optical components.
Ophir’s new products are optimised for 10µm SXGA/ HD and 15µm VGA new thermal imaging IR cameras, the company emphasises.
