
Elbit Wins US Army Mortar Contract
Elbit Systems has announced that its US subsidiary, Elbit Systems of America has been awarded a contract to provide 120mm mortar systems for the US Army. The initial delivery order was valued at US$10m, and is due to take place over a two-year period, with work taking place at Elbit’s facility in Fort Worth, Texas. In total, the contract has a maximum potential value of up to US$49pm, and maximum duration of up to five years.
This contract was awarded following Elbit’s completion of a 2016 contract for the production of 60 mm, 81 mm, and 120 mm mortars, valued at USD 103 million.
