On 24 November 2022, Rheinmetall announced that they together with Capita, Cervus, and Improbable Defence had joined the Raytheon UK led team Omnia Training, which is bidding to become the Strategic Training Partner for the British Army’s Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP). The CTTP is expected to start in 2025 and is valued at GBP 1.2 Bn (EUR 1.4 bn) over 15 years.

The CTTP is due to deliver the Future Collective Training System (FCTS) – a technology-enabled training system which includes modern technologies including synthetic training environments to data and connectivity solutions. The new training system will provide the British Army with the capability to better replicate the complexity of the modern battlefield in training, giving the army the ability to better prepare soldiers and commanders for operations.

Omnia Training’s expertise spans complex programme management, enterprise transformation, collective synthetic training, digital platforms and data exploitation. The group will work in collaboration with the British Army to provide collective training and prepare soldiers for future challenging operational scenarios by creating realistic multi-domain environments.
