At the company’s Wedel site in Germany, the team will be working to improve the power electronics of the Puma, thus concentrating on an area that was not affected by the recent outages. The requirement includes the new certification of components that are no longer available on the market; in addition, other features are to be incorporated such as the powering of an electric exhaust turbocharger and external charging of the infantry fighting vehicle.
