Composite armour specialist Integris Composites has announced that, effective from 1 July 2024, Dr Matthew Beaumont has taken on the role of head of research and development (R&D) at Integris EMEA.

With a background in aerospace engineering, Beaumont’s expertise in composite structures, material science and dynamic impact modelling will be instrumental in advancing Integris’ R&D initiatives, according to the company, while his international experience and bilingual proficiency (English and German) enable him to effectively manage a diverse team across multiple countries, including Denmark, the Netherlands, and France.

Meanwhile, David Bianchini, a ballistic development expert with over 20 years of experience, has rejoined Integris. His comprehensive understanding of the industry and profound knowledge of ballistic products, including fibres, production and testing, make him a great asset to Integris, the company stated, adding that his familiarity with suppliers and customers further enhances his ability to drive the company’s ballistic development forward.

Jan Grimberg, senior vice president of sales and marketing for EMEA at Integris, commented on the new appointments: “We are thrilled to welcome Mr David Bianchini and Dr Beaumont to our team.
