JFD Global launches next-gen rebreather to address increasingly complex mission profiles

Specialist marine and defence solutions provider James Fisher Defence (JFD Global) announced the launch of its Stealth Multi-Role rebreather on 15 September 2025.

Incorporating the latest advances in multi-mission diving technology, the Stealth Multi-Role rebreather represents the next generation of JFD Global’s Stealth system. It has been developed to address the challenge of modern mission profiles increasingly requiring divers to transition between depths and tasks, from long horizontal swims in special operations to complex tasks at depth.

The system has been designed to be compact, ergonomic and configurable to fit a broad spectrum of diver physiques, ensuring consistent comfort and performance across a diverse global operator base. Combined with its modular, reconfigurable design, the Stealth Multi-Role rebreather is said bt JFD Global to offer “uncompromising operational flexibility, sophisticated simplicity and exceptional safety to deliver critical mission success”.

A key feature of the Stealth Multi-Role rebreather is that it extends mission endurance to 12 hours and operational depth to 120 m, making it one of the deepest defence rebreathers on the market.
