Saab has received an order from the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence (MND) for Bolide missiles for the RBS 70 NG short-range air defence system, the company announced on 31 December 2025.

The order is valued at SEK 3 billion (EUR 280 million), with deliveries expected to take place in the 2028-2032 timeframe. It was placed within a framework agreement covering the RBS 70 NG between Saab, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Lithuanian MND.

Lithuania has been a user of Saab’s RBS 70 system since 2004, while the RBS 70 NG is also included in Saab’s vehicle-integrated mobile air defence solution acquired by Lithuania that acts as a protective shield for moving units.

Meanwhile, on 23 December Saab announced that it had received orders from Lithuania for AT4 disposable support weapons as well as ammunition for the Carl-Gustaf recoilless multi-role weapon with a combined order value of SEK 1.3 billion, with deliveries planned for the 2027-2029 timeframe.
