At Eurosatory 2026, KNDS confirms its position as a major industrial player in loitering munitions and remotely operated systems. Drawing on years of investment in warhead technologies, system integration, and battlefield-driven innovation, KNDS presents a comprehensive and uniquely sovereign offer — from military warheads to complete loitering munitions.
KNDS warhead and loitering munition expertise: a fully integrated offer
KNDS Ammo France is a reference supplier of military warheads and applies this expertise across the Mataris family, the first sovereign complete line of loitering munitions developed in partnership with Delair and EOS. Its relevance has already been validated by the French Army, with the MX-10 in active service since December 2025.
A “Mission Solution” approach: integrating loitering munitions across platforms
Key system integrator in the loitering munition field, KNDS brings together subsystems expertise, a deep understanding of operator cognitive load, safety requirements and interoperability constraints.
The development of KNDS’s loitering munition family is fully embedded in its broader “Mission Solution” concept, aimed at improving artillery systems and armoured vehicles’ missions. In this spirit, KNDS is working on two new types of loitering munitions.
- Designed for medium range strike and extending engagement reach up to 150km, KNDS is developing a specific loitering ammunition for artillery, embedding heavy warheads meeting the highest safety standards as an operational complement to conventional systems.
- KNDS also developed MT10, an onboard loitering munitions designed to accompany armoured vehicles that will open new close protection, reconnaissance and beyond-line-of-sight engagement capabilities. Designed for integration on armoured vehicles, the MT10 will be available from mid-2027.
At Eurosatory 2026, KNDS also unveils the AIMC2, a command-and-control station capable of managing a large number of loitering munitions simultaneously, and compatible with several Battle Management Systems.
MTO-T: KNDS extends the Mataris family to the ground domain
Also revealed at Eurosatory 2026, the MTO-T (Munition TéléOpérée – Terrestre) is KNDS’ first ground loitering munition — developed in direct response to lessons from high-intensity operations in Ukraine — designed to protect soldiers during the most critical engagement phases, including breaching operations and controlled destruction missions.
Engineered for large-scale production at a controlled unit cost, the MTO-T fills the gap left by low-cost ground robots and complements aerial UAVs precisely where they are least effective: dense urban environments, underground spaces, and areas subject to satellite navigation jamming or anti-drone saturation. Unlike an UAV constrained by limited energy autonomy, the MTO-T can maintain its position silently, without electromagnetic emissions, for extended durations, and engage only upon operator confirmation — delivering an unprecedented extended tactical standby capability.
