MKU’s expanding portfolio of optronics and night enablement capability under Netro Optronics encompasses soldier and platform optronics, including thermal imaging systems, night vision devices, aiming solutions, airborne systems, AI-enabled driver night sights and situational awareness technologies. Powering many of these solutions is Aksion, MKU’s indigenous thermal imaging core, reflecting the company’s growing expertise in critical electro-optical technologies.

MKU’s capabilities are backed by significant operational success. Recent milestones include one of India’s largest night vision weapon sight contracts, major ballistic helmet programmes for armed forces, and extensive platform protection projects across Europe, Asia and other global markets. Platform Survivability Solutions by MKU

In Platform Survivability, MKU delivers a comprehensive portfolio of protection solutions designed to enhance platform survivability across modern threat environments. The company’s lightweight composite armouring solutions protect military vehicles, helicopters and naval vessels against ballistic and fragmentation threats while preserving mobility, payload capacity and operational performance

Complementing these capabilities are passive survivability solutions engineered for today’s increasingly transparent battlefield, including anti-drone nets designed to mitigate emerging aerial threats and multispectral camouflage nets that reduce platform signatures across visual, infrared and thermal spectrums. Together, these solutions help military forces improve protection, concealment and mission endurance across a wide range of operational scenarios. MKU’s survivability technologies have been integrated on more than 1,800 land vehicles, over 400 aircraft and helicopters, and more than 700 naval vessels worldwide.

Soldier Systems by MKU

In Soldier Systems, MKU combines advanced protection technologies with battlefield awareness solutions to support the modern soldier. The portfolio includes ballistic helmets, body armour, shields and hard armour plates, alongside soldier optronics solutions for situational awareness, target acquisition and aiming. Highlights include the Kavro Doma 360 Ultra, a rifle protection helmet with add-on applique armour, modular and scalable body armour systems, specialised body armour for women, and aviation-focused night vision solutions for pilots and aircrew.

The company has also established a strong European manufacturing and engineering footprint through MKU GmbH in Germany, its European Centre of Excellence for protection technologies.
