Saudi firms Gissan Company and Clear Vision have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the development of new technologies for research and development within the kingdom.

The MoU was signed at the 2024 World Defense Show, held in Riyadh from 4 to 8 February, by Gissan CEO Dr Fahd AlDamer and Clear Vision CEO Sulafa Anwar Jabarti.

‏The scope of the MoU covers the enhancement of monitoring and governance technologies of both IT infrastructure and applications, in addition to providing data and studies to identify and allocate digital advancements to keep pace with the Saudi national vision for this path. The two parties agreed to collaborate by exchanging know-how, experiences and scientific advice in the targeted fields.

Gissan Company offers a wide range of solutions in the defence and security field through its network of local and global strategic partners and focus on the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategic plan, which aims to boost the development of indigenous solutions.

Clear Vision is one of the leading national companies in developing solutions. “It provides leading services through international digital partnerships and its deep understanding of local needs to customise and develop national content at the highest international level,” according to a Gissan press release.
