A modular solution for a large variety of vehicle platforms

SIMA Innovation’s Ringmounts are characterised by their solid construction and how easily they can be adapted or reconfigured. They are invented for soldiers by soldiers – and we know that needs and situations can change. So can the Ringmount. Our Ringmounts are already in use by special police units, border guards and SOF units across Europe. Different purposes, different vehicles, but the same Ringmount. The Ringmount can utilised across a country’s land systems, even across borders in multiple countries.

The SIMA Ringmount is designed and manufactured in Denmark and tested and battle proven by European MoDs and OEMs. We offer off-the-shelf Ringmount solutions, but we also understand that many of our clients have unique requirements. Therefore, it is possible to customise the final Ringmount configuration to meet the needs of the specific purpose.

An interchangeable modular concept

All Ringmounts are motorised by default with an electric operating system which optimises the ergonomics for the gunner and increases efficiency in combat. This also makes handling easier on slopes and in heavy terrain.

Our equipment is highly modular. It works like building bricks. Once the base (the Ringmount) is in place, you can build and rebuild with almost any Softmount or accessory so it can be adapted to the current situation.

Our goal is to deliver a “plug-and-fight” concept, allowing soldiers to change their equipment without the need for a workshop, garage, or special tools.

All equipment from SIMA Innovation is designed and innovated for soldiers, by soldiers. Many of our employees have a military background and understand firsthand what it’s like to be a soldier. We use their knowledge and experiences as well as that of
other members of the armed forces, past and present, to develop equipment for the soldiers of the future.

Our mission is to ensure that Danish soldiers and those of our allies are as safe and secure as possible. That’s our core principle when our engineers design, construct, and develop new equipment; when we test and analyse how we can optimise the equipment; and when we work in close cooperation with MoDs and OEMs to fulfil their needs.

We want to be the European Centre of Excellence within our area of expertise and do our  part to ensure a common European military resilience.

Local supply chain ensures our security of supply

When working with defence, security of supply is critical. We have a trusted and loyal network of suppliers, all of whom must meet every strict security requirements mandated by the defence industry.

At SIMA Innovation we want to be independent and be able to always deliver our equipment as promised. For this reason, and for the sake of security of supply, we have at least two suppliers for each and every component. We emphasise geographical proximity, and over 90% of our suppliers are Danish, most of whom are from Funen, the region where SIMA Innovation is situated.
