Slovenian company Guardiaris has developed a new generation of its Small Arms Mobile Trainer that features an LED wall, the company revealed on 16 November 2023.

The system is being presented for the first time at the I/ITSEC 2023 exhibition in Orlando, Florida, which takes place from 27 November until 1 December.

SAMT is a highly customisable, laserless, mobile system that can accommodate training on small arms, anti-tank weapons, military vehicles, and remote weapon stations. The solution enables comprehensive training at the individual or squad level in a highly realistic synthetic environment provided by easily stackable screens that form an LED-walled environment that is easily expandable and customisable.

At the heart of the system is a patented and laserless module that can be mounted on the picatinny rail of or installed inside any modified real weapon or weapon replica. This calculates and displays customisable key performance indicators, such as weapon handling performance in all six degrees of freedom (DoF), exact ballistics for all weapon types, trigger and shot accuracy, soldier position and stance, physiological sensing and even cognitive responses, biometrics, and visual feedback.

This data is instantly available to the system and facilitates precise after-action review and comprehensive post-training analysis at the individual or squad level.

Multiple SAMT systems can also be networked together provide comprehensive marksmanship and tactical training for large groups of soldiers in one common scenario.
