Technology specialist Exail has signed a contract with naval systems integrator RH Marine Netherlands to provide advanced inertial navigation systems (INS) and data distribution units for the Royal Netherlands Navy and Belgian Naval Component, Exail announced on 29 November 2023.

The INS and data distribution units will be installed on the Dutch and Belgian navies’ future class of Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates (ASWFs).

Our advanced technology is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern naval operations, offering the Dutch and Belgian navies a strategic edge in anti-submarine warfare.”

The partnership further reinforces Exail’s position as a trusted provider of navigation solutions for naval applications worldwide. The company’s navigation equipment has been installed on the Spanish minehunter Turia, Spanish F110 multi-mission frigates, US Coast Guard Keeper-class buoy tenders, Norwegian and German U212CD submarines, as well as the latest French FDI-class frigates and has been specified for Finland’s four Squadron 2020 multi-role corvettes.
