Airbus Defence and Space and Rohde & Schwarz have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to improve the technological connectivity offering for the UK Royal Navy.
The strategic collaboration, which was signed on 28 August 2024 at Airbus’ offices in London and then announced on 9 September, aims to provide the Royal Navy with enhanced communication resilience by leveraging the latest technologies and expertise from both companies. By combining their strengths, Airbus Defence and Space and Rohde & Schwarz will seek to jointly develop innovative solutions that address the evolving communications challenges faced by the Royal Navy.
The MoU recognises that defence challenges often require collaborative efforts to deliver effective solutions.
