Motorola Solutions has announced their acquisition of Barrett Communications, a radio communications provider which primarily develops HF and VHF radio systems for customers in the civil security, border protection and coast guard industries. According to Motorola Solutions, the acquisition expands its portfolio and extends its reach into international markets.
